1.  By Car 

If you’re traveling by car, you can follow this route:

From Munich:

• Take the A92 highway towards Deggendorf.
• At the Deggendorf exit, switch to the B11 in the direction of Patersdorf.
• From Patersdorf, follow the St2135 towards Viechtach and continue to St. Englmar.
• In St. Englmar, follow the signs to Zipfelwiese or Predigstuhlresort/Kletterwald.
• Turn to Klettewald Parking, in front of the parking is the Zipflwiese.

From Regensburg:

• Take the A3 highway towards Passau.
• Exit the A3 at Bogen.
• Continue on the St2139 towards St. Englmar.
• In St. Englmar, follow the signs to Zipfelwiese, heading towards the Predigtstuhl Resort.

2. By Bus and Train By Train: First, take a train to either Straubing or Plattling, which are the nearest major train stations. There are direct connections from Munich and Regensburg. From Straubing, you can either take a bus or a taxi directly to St. Englmar, though buses are not very frequent.

By Bus: From Straubing or Viechtach, you can take a bus towards St. Englmar. Bus line 6094 connects Viechtach with St. Englmar. Zipfelwiese is within walking distance from St. Englmar.

3. By Plane The closest airport is Munich Airport (MUC).

Flight to Munich: From there, you can either rent a car and follow the driving directions above or continue your journey by train. Alternatively, you can take a train or bus to Straubing, and then travel by bus or taxi to St. Englmar.

Additional Tips:

• Zipfelwiese is well signposted, especially for hikers.
• Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as service is less frequent in rural areas.
